Harry P. Lay
Prior to starting his own consulting firm, Harry served a regional CPA firm as the partner in charge of non-traditional consulting services and director of profit advisory services. Prior to joining that organization in 1997 he was the President and Chief Financial Officer for a large ($100 million annual revenue) multi-office international architectural and engineering firm for more than eight years where he directed the financial, treasury, strategic planning, and related administrative activities of the company. Before entering the private business sector Harry spent 19 years in public accounting with a Big Five accounting firm, co-founder and partner for a large local accounting firm, and audit partner with a second-tier international accounting firm. In addition to working with numerous clients in various industries, he has taught a number of continuing education courses and facilitated seminars for professional associations and private companies for over 20 years. His experience in both private business and public accounting uniquely qualifies him as an interim CFO for Prestige Healthcare Resources, Inc.
As the president of Lay Professional Services, Harry provides services that create value and enhance the performance for the firm’s clients including both for profit and non-profit companies. In addition to being a CPA, Harry attained certification as a CPEC, a Certified Profit Enhancement Consultant, and is a Certified FOMB Consultant (family owned/managed business).
