About Prestige Healthcare Resources

Providing compassion and care isn’t just our profession at Prestige Healthcare Resources. It’s our passion, and it’s our culture.

That starts from the top. Our founder, John S. Smith Jr., came to the U.S. from the war-torn African nation of Liberia. Shortly after arriving, he was badly injured in a job-related accident. He received emergency surgery and such wonderful care, that he decided to provide that same quality healthcare to others and in 2001, became a registered nurse. Ultimately, Mr. Smith started PHRI so he could help more than one person at a time. 

At Prestige, we care for the clients we serve. We listen to them. We are committed to providing them with the help they need to live comfortable and fulfilling lives.
